Honda Insight Honored with Top Safety Pick Award

The reason people get hybrid cars is because they want to help the environment and get great MPG at the same time. But some people may be reluctant of getting a hybrid car because they're concerned that its smaller size would be less safe.

We want to remind people that the Honda Insight, the most affordable hybrid on the market, received the TOP SAFETY PICK award by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2009.

This award recognizes cars that do the best job at protecting occupants in front, side and rear collisions.

Honda is dedicated to safety, and the Research and Development department in Raymond, Ohio is one of the most sophisticated to date. It offers the worlds first pitching crash test simulator. Which can simulate pitch movements during any kind of collision, allowing for more real-world depictions of accidents for better improvements in safety.
